Teacher mentorship groups
As a certified mindfulness teacher or mentor, you know the importance of proper guidance and support on this path. Our Teacher Mentorship Groups provide you with ongoing support on your professional and personal mindfulness journey, from a highly experienced teacher in a small group of peers.
why MENTORship
groups?
There’s nothing like having a great guide and peers on the journey to learn from. Each group is small and intimate, so that you’ll have plenty of space to connect, reflect, and practice. These groups are designed for Mindfulness Mentor Training graduates, MMTCP graduates, and other certified mindfulness practitioners.

Build a relationship with a teacher & peers
Teacher mentorship groups meet the unique needs of certified mindfulness teachers and mentors. They provide personalized support to advance your personal and professional mindfulness journey. You’ll have a dedicated mentor and peers to practice and learn with. Each group is a small, safe space to build your confidence, reinforce the teachings, and work through things like self-doubt, imposter syndrome, difficult emotions, and triggers.

Find a mentor
We progress more quickly when we’re guided by someone who has been there before. Your mentor gets to know you and your practice, and helps you address challenges and progress.

Practice in a safe container
Everything you’ve learned gets reinforced and embodied over time, which is how you progress. You’re supported to practice and explore different ways to meet what arises for you as a mentor and a practitioner in a safe environment.

Build intimate connections
Your common purpose as mindfulness mentors creates a deep bond. This is important because it reinforces that you belong while learning and growing. You really get to know each other by sharing the ups and downs of your journey.

What our teachers say
"It's been a joy and blessing to lead an MMTCP graduate group through Banyan. As an MMTCP mentor, it's a great opportunity for alums to continue to support each other as practitioners and teachers of mindfulness on an ongoing basis. Coming together in a new configuration of Sangha provides space for sharing and exploring ways of delivering the teachings and practices as well as offering support as we continue to evolve and build confidence in ourselves both as teachers and human beings in an ever-changing world." — La Sarmiento
