What is your refund policy?

At Banyan, we prioritize providing transparency and flexibility in our refund policies to ensure a positive experience across all our offerings. Please review our detailed refund policies below:

1. base membership

Our Base Membership product is billed monthly or annually. Products offered free to members are not eligible for refunds as they are part of the membership benefits and are provided at no additional charge. Refunds will not be issued for any unused portion of the month. Please see our refund terms for both monthly and annual pricing plans:

1.a. Monthly Plan

  • Free Trial: You will not be charged during your free trial. You can cancel any time before the trial ends to avoid being charged. After your free trial ends, you will be billed monthly.
  • Non-refundable: Monthly payments are charged at the beginning of each billing cycle and are non-refundable.
  • Cancellation: You may cancel your membership any time by contacting support@banyantogether.com, which will prevent further charges for the following month.

1.b. Annual Plan

  • Free Trial: You can cancel during the free trial and will not be charged. Once the trial ends and you are billed for the year, refund requests are processed as follows:
  • Pro-Rated Refunds:
    • Cancellation within the First Three (3) Months: 50% refund of the remaining membership period.
    • Cancellation within three (3) to six (6) Months: 25% refund of the remaining membership period.
    • No Refund after six (6) Months.
  • To request a refund, please contact us at support@banyantogether.com. Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days.

2. Mentorship groups

Our Mentorship product is billed monthly.

  • Mentorship Groups are non-refundable once the monthly charge has been processed. You may cancel your subscription to the Mentorship Group add-on at any time by contacting support@banyantogether.com, which will prevent further charges for the following month.
  • If you cancel your Mentorship Group subscription, you will still retain your Base Membership unless you choose to cancel that separately.
  • Refunds will not be issued for any unused portion of the month.

3. RETREATS

We offer a variety of Half-Day and Full-Day Retreats, with pricing that varies depending on the specific event. Refunds and cancellations for these retreats follow the guidelines below:

  • Full Refund: For cancellations made up to 30-days before the retreat.
  • 50% Refund: For cancellations made between 30 and 7 days before the retreat.
  • No Refund: For cancellations made less than seven (7) days before the retreat.
  • Transfer of Registration: If you cannot attend the retreat, you may transfer your registration to a future retreat within six (6) months, provided you notify us seven (7) days before the event.

If Banyan cancels the retreat, you will receive a full refund of the amount paid in USD. Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days. Please email support@banyantogether.com to request a cancellation or transfer.

4. COURSES

Our refund policies for each of our courses are below.

4.a. Mindful Relating Course

As this is a recorded course, no refunds are available once the course has been started.

4.B. Mindfulness Mentor Training

Refunds follow the same policy for all participants. You may request a full refund within 30 days of purchase, provided the course has not started. Once the course is accessed or begun, refunds are not available. Refunds are not applicable for participants with a 100% scholarship, as no payment has been made.

Payment Plans (via Klarna)

If you selected a Klarna payment plan, please review Klarna’s refund terms below:

  • Full refunds: Cancel any remaining payments and return the amount already paid, provided the course has not yet started.
  • Partial refunds: Klarna will adjust the remaining balance or return the difference, depending on the refund amount.

5. exceptions + special circumstances

We understand that unforeseen events can happen. In exceptional cases, such as severe illness or hardship, we may consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us to discuss your situation at support@banyantogether.com. We are here to help.
